REIKI HISTORYIn the beginning of 20th century in Japan, Mikao Usui founded the method Usui Reiki Ryoho. One of the main students of Dr. Usui was Dr. Hayashi who taught Reiki method to Mrs. Takata in Japan from 1935 to 1938. Mrs. Takata was born in Hawaii by Japanese natives in 1900 and passed away in 1980 in Usa. In 1938 Mrs. Takata returned to Hawaii with Dr. Hayashi who officially authorized her to transmit and teach Reiki method to Usa and western world.
